Problem
Spot aims to solve the inconvenience and awkwardness of peer-to-peer transacting. By doing this the application addresses the need for sharing bank details that can be risky and cumbersome, the frustrations of repeatedly reminding people to pay you back, the complexity of transactional transfers and security concerns
Solution
The Spot mobile app was designed for users to easily find friends, send and request money without the need for account numbers of sort codes. To ensure security, advanced measures such as device biometrics, custom encrypted communication, JWT tokens, SSL pinning, and secure data storage have been implemented.
